My Story
At age 19, while I was initially a pre-chiropractic student, someone gave me a book about glandular dominance and food. It ignited a fire in me to seek healthy nutritional meal options catered to my body type.
After switching gears to dental hygiene, and tutoring chemistry, I realized there was so much more gut/brain/mouth/heart—whole body systems connecting together. I have been digging deeply into oral/systemic connections for 20 years, and then 8 years ago began a functional nutrition exploration that began a focus on the microbiome in the gut.
After my son started college I followed my passion and pursued certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Their focus on Health being “more than just the food on your plate” and “bioindividuality” is exactly in step with my beliefs and observations over the past 2+ decades.
One unique quality about me is my deep scientific studies in the oral/systemic health connections and my personal experiences working with a Functional Medicine doctor.

That’s why I ask a question and then listen to every detail you provide, which sometimes leads to more questions. Our sessions are fully confidential and I truly appreciate each and every client for who they are and for their honesty in the process.
I am flexible with your pace. While some people want to dive right in and address things quickly, most people appreciate a slower implementation of modifications in diet and lifestyle. This can help these changes become sustainable and a part of daily life vs a “quick fix”. It also allows us to discover concerns that weren’t initially at the forefront.
